ASIFMA (Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association) is an independent, regional trade association comprising a diverse range of over 150 leading financial institutions from both the buy and sell side, including banks, asset managers, professional services firms and market infrastructure service providers.  Together, we harness the shared interests of the financial industry to promote the development of liquid, deep and broad capital markets in Asia.  Through the GFMA alliance with SIFMA in the US and AFME in Europe, ASIFMA also provides insights on global best practices and standards to benefit the region.

The Asia TraderForum is a private membership group for the Heads of Buyside Trading from leading global asset management firms operating in Asia. Its mission is to help support the development of fair and efficient markets throughout Asia-Pacific.

The WFE is the global industry group for exchanges and clearing houses (CCPs) around the world. We represent over 250 market-infrastructures ranging from those that operate the largest financial centres to those that run frontier markets.Established in 1961, the WFE is the global industry association for exchanges and clearing houses. Headquartered in London, it represents over 250 market infrastructure providers, including standalone CCPs that are not part of exchange groups. Of our members, 39% are in Asia-Pacific, 42% in EMEA and 19% in the Americas. WFE’s 74 member CCPs and clearing services collectively ensure that risk takers post some $1.4 trillion (equivalent) of resources to back their positions, in the form of initial margin and default fund requirements. WFE exchanges are home to over 41,000 listed companies, and the market capitalization of these entities is over $137 trillion; around $198.5 trillion in trading annually passes through WFE members (at end-2025).
